Congratulations to Mitsubishi "i", 「日本マイカー・ベスト・チョイス賞」 won Japan MyCar Best Choice Awards of year 2006

日本ＭＢＣ賞２００６グランドチャンピオンカーは三菱ｉ（アイ）が受賞！
Mitsubishi "i" was awarded as Japan MyCar Best Choice Grand Champion of Year 2006.

オートギャラリー東京２００６会場にて、「日本ＭＢＣ賞」の各カテゴリーの受賞が発表された。 　日本ＭＢＣ賞とは、「日本マイカー・ベスト・チョイス賞」の略。複数の自動車情報誌などで"その年のベストカーは何か"について読者投票を実施し、投票結果で上位に入ったクルマの中から、日本ＭＢＣ賞選考委員（モータージャーナリストなどで構成）がグランドチャンピオンカーを選ぶというものだ。 　今回グランドチャンピオンカーに輝いたのは、三菱自動車の「ｉ」。そして審査員特別賞としてトヨタの「エスティマハイブリッド」が選ばれている。 　自動車雑誌の読者およびモータージャーナリストの支持が最も高かったこの２車種は、期間中オートギャラリー会場に展示されている。 　会場では、ｉとエスティマハイブリッドのカスタムカーも多数出展されているので、ノーマル時の形と見比べて楽しめる。 　また日本ＭＢＣ賞の入賞車などの詳細は後日記事にします。 (Sorry only in Japanese)

Congratulation to Mitsubishi!
This Award is very important to Automaker in Japan, especially for Mitsubishi Motors. Mitsubishi's models had not been awarded any Japan MBC Awards since 1996, below are the MBC winners from the first in 1986 til now. (Already 21 years old)



Mitsubishi "Galant" was the last model awarded MBC awards in the year of 1996, after waiting for 10 years the Grand Champion was came back to Mitsubishi. Besides that, Mitsubishi Outlander also was awarded as champion in the group of "Best Compact SUV" this year. The photo below is showing the MBC trophies.


Just hope that Mitsubishi Motors will continue producing more and more good styling, safety, value for money and good performance cars for now on. I hope it's a begining of Mitsubishi or reborn and not the end of story, Good luck!!
