Hei KCP members,

Yesterday, Mitsubishi has just launched a new model at Japan, it is a mini car called "i".
Check this out: (You can click on the title for full news)

Tokyo, January 24, 2006 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation today launched the new "i" minicar model at Mitsubishi dealerships throughout Japan. Using a newly developed platform with an original rear-midship layout that mounts the engine forward of the rear axle line, the new "i" series includes 2WD and 4WD models with prices ranging from ¥1,281,000 to ¥1,617,000.

Powered by a new lightweight and compact 3-cylinder MIVEC*1 turbocharged engine that uses an aluminum cylinder block, "i" earns a 3-star rating for emission levels that are 50% lower than required by Japanese 2005 Emission Regulations and returns fuel consumption that meets Japanese 2010 fuel economy requirements.

I've just went to one of the show room to check the car.
I think this car is cute and compact. It is good for Single and family use.
Surprisingly with the new technologies and design concepts (where the engine located at the rear) and the wheel base is 2550mm (Waja is 2600mm), the price is rather low.

Here are some photos of frontal impact test results. It's a super Safe car!

Wish that, this model will be available in Bolehland soon. Of course the price will be more expensive than what I told. Any comments?
Enjoys!
